XIN CHÀO - MINGALABAR!

A very warm welcome to the Website of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Myanmar bonded its ties with Viet Nam since the early years. In 1947, Viet Nam established a liaison office in the capital of Yangon. After the Southern liberation and national unification in Viet Nam, the two countries upgraded their diplomatic relations from Consul General to Ambassador level (28/5/1975). Over the past years, the two countries have been actively consolidating and promoting the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation, especially in the fields of politics, foreign affairs, trade and investment... The two sides regularly exchange delegations at all levels. The good results of those visits have laid historic milestones, set new direction and created significant momentum for the further development of the bilateral relations.

We hope this Website will help you to learn more about the land and people of Vietnam, the relations between Viet Nam and Myanmar, as well as the activities of the Viet Nam Embassy in Myanmar.

Thank you.

Phạm Thanh Dũng
Ambassador
